Santa Claus is coming to town! Really, I'm serious; and you'd better believe it!

The 38th Annual Downtown Christmas Parade hosted by the Springfield Jaycees and Ansar Shriners will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2009. The theme for the 2009 Parade is…"Chillin' with Jack Frost!".

The Parade begins at 10:00 a.m. The entry cost $20 with a deadline of November 27th. More the 90 units will thrill onlookers as they wind down the Parade Route (West on Jefferson, South on 5th, East on Capitol, and North on 6th).
